ASTROLOGY INSTRUCTION:
SYMBOLIC LANGUAGE
SYMBOLIC LANGUAGES
The
problem with learning a symbolic language is the symbols. It is more
ambiguous than even English. There are words in the English language
that have several meanings and you have to extract the correct meaning
of the word from the context in which it is used. This is most obvious
in English slang. Everyone knows of a few words (that we won't print
here) that could mean anything from the highest praise to the lowest condemnation
and virtually anything in between. We pick the correct meaning of the word
not only from the context in which it is used, but also considering the person using
the word. This is the same as using a symbolic language. Each
symbol has a range of meaning from the highest attributes of virtue to
the lowest animal instincts and everything in between. The trick
is to notice the context in which you find the symbol and the overall trend
of the chart. The right meaning will be found.
We wish we could electronically thump you on the head and you would understand,
but we can't. It does take a little thought. With a little
effort, most people suddenly just get it. Others will take a little
more effort. The hardest chart to read is your own. You are
just too close to the situation to see clearly. The best way to learn
is to look at your chart and the charts of people you know. The light
bulb seems to light quicker this way.
This site is not intended to teach you everything there is to know about
Astrology (a lot more is coming). Many good authors have taken
the time to write down knowledge that took them a lifetime to learn.
Our intention is to let you find out for yourself. Astrology works.
You should also know enough to be able to pick your next book wisely.
The books will now have more meaning because, with our site, you now have
easy access to accurate charts of yourself and people you know. Without
the charts, most of the books are just theory. With the charts, the
information comes home.
Just remember, persistence is usually rewarded. You will be amazed
at what our computer can do with delineation (reading a chart) by just
mindlessly sticking key words together. This is an art. People
will always be better at art than computers.
